Is it something you had installed? Perhaps from another Suite or Version?

I don't know if it will help but it would not hurt to run a Repair:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Now insert your Roxio Disc (download version - run Install)

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Nothing I installed. Only started after Roxio installation, and it only tries to install when I run the Roxio program. Just thinking about ditching Roxio and buying a better software package. Roxio is not a trustworthy resource judging from their support on their products. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for, and I went cheap to convert my VHS tapes. I would never recommend this company for anything.

I've even got a couple of BSODs when trying to run this stuff. A company like this should be ashamed to produce such a sub-rate product.

Thanks anyway, and I may try your suggestion, but I will never trust a Roxio product again. I mean, why would you have to repair a brand new product in the first place?

Look in Control Panel Add Remove programs for XP, Control Panel Programs and Features Vista, W-7, and W-8.

Do you see a listing for CinePlayer?

What kind, make, brand name, of PC?

Did it come with some OEM Roxio software installed?

Wow that's really mature...

The product has been out for 4 years now and the MILLIONS of other users don't seem to have this trouble...

Roxio/Sonic are the largest Video and Burning software maker in the world - even major studios use their software

We are trying to help you get this resolved but I do have better things I can be doing since you don't seem to get it... -_-
