Pc To Pc Setup

I haven't seen anything on the PC capturing side of things but this really bugs me. I have two pc's side by side,. One I play on which is connected by a DVI to HDMI cable to roxio and then roxio is connected by USB to my other computer which I use to record and etc. it works fine but I have no sound, recording or streaming. I tried connecting component cables but still no luck. I love the device but I want to get it to work properly.

Try running the Audio from your Sound Card output or headphones to the input side of the RGC with a White/Red RCA...

 

I am guessing that your DVI to HDMI is not passing along the Audio??? Did you test it separately with another HDMI device, like a monitor or TV with speakers/phones???

I'd say you're correct Jim.

DVI does not include Audio like HDMi does (as you know).

 

Sounds like Y cable time to me.
