No Idea What's Wrong

Ok, i have the HDMI cable plugged from the xbox to the Roxio Game Capture card, and from the card to the TV I used the red/blue/green wires and the red/white wires. I know the HDMI cable works, yet my computer gets no signal (it is plugged into the card as well, light is blue). Signal also does not reach television. Any idea what's wrong? Can i mix HDMI with the colored stuff like that? any help highly appreciated.
