Creating 3D Using Layering

This is an example of how to create a 3D effect using layering. This was one of the panels in a slideshow of our trip to the UK. I know many of you have similar effects that you create and if possible could you please post them so I can get some more ideas. This was taken in early 1995.Thank you.

Nice work Willard, creative use of Videowave.

 

Hmmm ... my addition I think would be that you can use a green screen to do similar things but with video (Separate the main element in the clip from the background and then add other elements or a new background.)

Karri, Thanks for the input. I have a vague understanding of green screen. Is that feature available on Creator 2010? If it is can you create a video clip of the actual bolts and nuts of how this is done. .
