Weird White Space

been away for a while--health issues--but did some video today of grandkids--uisng the same camera,computer,dvd player et al. Made the video and burned a disc and an iso file. Video was about 1gb with about 60 transitins.Couldnt recall how to add all the transitions all at once so clicked on a drop down that would add up mto 256 transiions. Ok now go to play the dvd, which is pretty simple, just stills and video, no overlays,music et al. halfway thru the 1st video the screen goes comlptety white, stiill has sound, so fwd to next scene, same thing--play on another dvd player same deal.Stick it in computer, plays fine.Seemed to notice a page turn in some of the white space--so editted video and took aout all the transitions--re burned it and it plays fine.Any ideas on whet i did wrong--also could you tell me where i can click to add transitions tp all the slides/videos thaks alot

If you are adding the same transition to all the photos, etc., you should get a pop-up when you add your first transition. The pop-up gives you 3 choices, one of which is to add/replace transitions between all panels in the production.

 

Another way to do it, if you have transitions in the production already, is to right click on the transition that you want for all photos, etc., and select "Apply Transition to All".

1) Update the drivers for your video card.

2) Buy some good quality DVD media - JVC Toiyo Yuden (on line only), Verbatim, Sony. (in that order). You may still get some bad ones but fewer of them.)

2) Burn the project to an ISO file or to a folder set and then burn that to the DVD.

 

It seems strange that 2 different DVD players won't play it but your computer will AS A VIDEO DVD. Are both your DVD players similar?

 

Welcome back, I'm glad that you are better than in the recent past.

 

Oops, I forgot to mention, stay away from 3D or 3D like transitions. Perhaps you computer/graphics card can't handle them. I think one or more of the page turns are 3D like.
