The only one that had success AND reported back was THIS one...

And he ended up doing a Repair to Win7 for the fix!

I do note that you both are in the UK. He was using a PS3 but you never provided any details in any of your posts here

Did it ever work for you???

No, i literally just got it last night, plugged it in set it up and this came up. I am using HDMI cables with my ps3 slim and a windows 7 pc, ive tried all the solutions but none have worked

OK, so last month's topic was just pre-purchase reasearch? (good!)

I don't recall ever doing a Repair??? (reformat/install or from a clone)

Some of the other Guru's here can advise the best way to go with that! Give them a few more hours, sun is just comming up over here

So you dont know how to do a repair? thats fine, but will i need my windows 7 installation disk? as i havent got this

They all say they tried and did everything!

Playstation Setup

Power off the PlayStation 3. Connect a console specific Component AV cable** to the A/V port of the console. An HDMI connection is not possible from the PS3 due to HDCP (Sony protected) video out. Next, plug the color corresponding Component Video and RCA Audio cables to the inputs on the Roxio GameCAP HD PRO device.

Connect either an HDMI cable or the color corresponding Component Video Cables between the outputs of the Roxio GameCAP HD PRO device and the HDMI or Component Video inputs at the back or side of your TV. If you have a Component video cable connection, connect the color corresponding RCA Audio cables between the outputs of the Roxio GameCAP HD PRO device and the Audio inputs at the back or side of your TV.

Connect the included USB cable between the output on the Roxio GameCAP HD PRO device and the USB2.0 port of your laptop or PC.
