Installed Evd3 (No Plus) And It Won't Run At All

I am using windows7 Pro 64bit. After installing Easy VHS to DVD3 (and I have uninstalled/reinstalled too) I launch the program and immediately get a message "Roxio Easy VHS to DVD has stopped working".

If I click on more details, I see the following:

I think what you want to do is try a repair but make sure you do it this way...

 

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

 

With the Device Plugged in, go into Device Manager and uninstall it! There should be 2 entries, like these:

 

 

Remove the Device and set it aside for later.

 

Now insert your Roxio Disc - run Install.

 

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

 

When you reach the screen where

Repair

is offered, choose that!

 

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
