I Can't Download The Product I Purchased

onatorrent

Question

I purchased Roxio software and spent over 100 dollars. I went to download it and it seems my ISP Comcast started going up and down all day. I had to restart the download and well after 3 attempts I got a very BLUNT message that I could no longer download the product and to contact CS Support. This limited attempt is not right by any means. Roxio should give a time frame such as one week. That would avoid the situation I am in that is out of my control! If I had known this I would have just went to the store and made a purchase from there and then I would be able to complete the work and task that I should have done by Monday. It is Saterday and don't you just know but that Customer Service is CLOSED!

I really am thinking about calling my credit card and disputing the charge now. I mean, I am going to get docked at work for not having my project done so HELL why not dispute the charge and take my money else where!

Contact your ISP and complain to them ! They are the ones that created the problem. The limit on the number of downloads is typical of many company's policy. What program did you buy and try to download?

Did you read this about redownloading the program? Today is Monday so you should be able to contact sales. Sorry but that means that you won't get your project done by today. It brings to mind the signs that say "plan ahead" and the last couple of letters are smaller and run down the page.

Once you do download the program, make a copy of it on a disc, just in case.

BTW, since we are users on this forum and not Roxio or Corel, why do you think the threat of cancelling your credit card charges mean anything to us?

Your screen name does not give anyone a feeling of confidence.

I had a similar problem. There is no tech support. I was told to register the software and I would get a "support code". I registered, no code. After several angry phone calls, I finally got the code. Tech support consisted of sending me to the website for answers. Obviously they think we are too dumb to get to the website without help. Of course, none of their solutions worked. Remember now, this is all by email and takes several days. The ultimate solution is to pay for no tech support.

My advice is to return the software and get your money back (they will not refund tax or shipping). I am going to warn as many people as possible. Also, I am retired and have plenty of time to try to make this right.

What exactly is a similar problem?

If you don't tell us the problem why post?
