How To Insert Multiple Text Panels

This is a bit different question. I want to insert between clips of video one or more text panels that describe what is to be viewed. This would take the form of a title for the video, credits, names of selections and the like. Videowave allows me to put text but it always appears as an overlay on the video. That would be OK but the videowave doesn't seem to allow me to put in more than one Text panel. Is this possible in Roxio NXT or should I return to Roxio Creator Pro? This is pretty frustrating. I'd sure appreciate any pearls of wisdom about this.

You Split the clip where you want to insert the text.

 

Then you Add a color panel, still picture, anything you want that will 'pause' the video.

 

Then Add Text to that panel, not your video.

Thanks and that worked OK. Then there were problems with managing the clipping of existing long video sections. I wanted to separate them into individual musical numbers and put a title in front of each clip. The process of creating clips has never worked well for me. In the end, I resorted to using Microsoft's Windows Live Video Maker. That worked very well for me. Fact of the matter is that it relieved an enormous amount of frustration and angst about roxio nxt.

I always found Windows Movie Maker too clumsy and crude to even consider using it.
