Using Video Enhancements

A Project is everything that is in one session of the EVD3 Software when it is open...

Notice when you click on Record-Edit-Save it ask if you want to: Start a New Project; Resume the Last Project; or Open a previously named Project...

In Export, assuming you are making a DVD Movie, the Clip Titles (clip names) is what will become the Menu Buttons - providing you choose, Add Menu:

You can change the clip names within the Project while you are in the Edit Videos tab... Double click the name of the clip under Video Enhancements ;)

Lastly, and this is where it is most confusing, is that under Video Enhancements they have one called Add Title :huh::wacko:

The Text you add there
will be inserted into your video...

It will be added at the position of the scrubber and will last for about 8 seconds...

It acts like a text overlay.

Hope that helps you out ~ if you need more tell us what it is you want to accomplish.

Ok, thanks. So when I add menu, how do the clip titles become the Menu Buttons. Is this done automatically. I have one project saved. I will work on that and see if I get what I want.

I want the menu to show the different clip titles as menu Buttons.

Will work on this.

Thank you

Then you have to change the Name of the Clip.

A good guideline to use is, Keep it Simple ;)

People don't insert a DVD Movie to look at a Menu

They put it in to WATCH the MOVIES

It is a good idea to have a DVD RW or 2 on hand so you can slap something quick together, burn it and check it out!
