Glitchy Preview Screen And Capture

Question

My computer exceeds the minimum requirements for the Roxio Hd Pro, but if I try to capture in over a 8500 Bit Rate, my video begins to glitch out and get all pixelated. The audio is fine but the video is not. I have tried many solutions but none seem to work. There are no faulty cables or hardware so I have no idea what this could be.

So it would appear your computer is not as good as you thought

List your specs and include the settings you are running at.

Probably would not hurt if you also told us what game console you are using, settings and hookup too

Include your Windows Performance Index (Win-Pause) too!

Sorry for taking forever to respond, but the issue fixed itself, I have a new computer now, but I'm have the same problem and my specs still exceed.

Windows 7 Ultimate (64 Bit)

AMD Fx2100 Quad Core Processor (3.60 Ghz)

8Gb ram

Nvidia GTX 650

My capture becomes all choppy and pixelated, I've read this problem on here many times with no solution to be found.

Your PC seems good to go...

If it is pixelaed, it is because it isn't getting processed right!

You Must make sure you have your video card set to default, any tweaking to make it better will cause this!

Best bet? Download your video card software - Uninstall your existing one - reboot and install the download.

That way you know you haven't changed anything ;)
