Help. No Purple Lights Coming On..

Soooooo water accidently entered my roxio game capture hd from a leaked aircon above it. Wasn't too much so i shook away the water and plugged in everything.It was fine for a while and then it just stopped working. No purple lights came on after i plugged it into the usb port.. Help?):

Doesn't sound good.

Shaking out usually doesn't get it done.

It needed to sit and dry out and then even you could get corrosion across 2 contacts.

Sounds like it shorted out to me.

Any way to solve it? I took it apart and sprayed Contact Cleaner spray on it. Still doesn't work...

Get a new RGC.

If the circuits that those contacts go to are already shorted out then cleaning them won't help at all.

I'd think the same as grandpabruce.... you need a new device.

You could try the iPhone trick of bagging it with a 1/2 cup of rice

 

But if you powered it on before trying this, chances are likely that you have burned the ciruits...
