No Input To Tv Or Pc

Hey everyone, I just got a roxio game game capture had pro, but it won't work. I got it all set up with component in and hdmi out and connected it to my computer, but it didn't show up on the tv or on the program. I did check the devices manager and even through the it was on, the game cap wouldn't show up. Please help me.
