"Transcoder" is what Windows installs for a Driver when you don't install the software correctly...

Fortunatly the Repair is not too hard but make sure you do it this way...

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

With the Device Plugged in, go into Device Manager and uninstall it!

Remove the Device and set it aside for later.

Now insert your Roxio Disc - run Install.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Problem is i lost my install disk but i still have the roxio software on my laptop but not the drivers.

When i call it says they don't off technical support. come to this fourm

The folks here are fellow users of the software, and absolutely can't help you. If Roxio can't help you, tell them that you want a refund.

BTW, YOU losing the disc is YOUR fault, not Roxio's. It does happen, but I would bet you will be careful with the disc, next time.

I am having the same problems. I have my install CD though. I did what I saw in this forum page and that didn't work. It gives me the same TRANSCODER thing and won't give a signal to my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro because the driver won't install properly. Please help.
