help how can I listen to the music while I record the sound to my computer. Recording tapes through my sound card. Easier way?

That is all a matter of your sound card and the inputs that it displays to Windows.

 

On most cards if you can do it then you need to set playback to something like "What You Hear","Stereo Mix" or something similar.

Not all sound cards are going to present an option you can hear.

You need a setting that allows you to hear what you are recording.

'What you hear' is a source to record from on my Creative Sound Card.
