I purchased Toast 11 Titanium one week ago. All it does is crash when I hit the record button. I want to Video Archive the raw video on my Canon camcorder (Vixia HF-S200). Immediately after loading the software ($99, and never got an email reply with a Service Code after registering), I had to download 2 updates, the first for Mountain Lion and the second to upgrade to 11.1 (1072). I tried 6 times to Archive from the camera to a 25 gb BD and CRASH. Apple has been inundated with error reports. And what a run around trying to contact Roxio. They obviously don't want to be bothered. Can anyone help??

Sorry this hasn't worked so far. It shouldn't be crashing. Do you have the camcorder and the Blu-ray player connected directly to the Mac's USB ports or through a hub? If through a hub try the direct connection. Make sure the camcorder is in the play mode (which I believe it needs to be in order for Toast to see it. There haven't been many complaints about the AVCHD archive so I don't know what else to suggest.

I can confirm this .... Toast 11 worked fine for me (on 10.6.8 iMac) until I downloaded and installed the 11.1 (1072) update today. It does crash now and I can't use it. Tried about 20 times. I'm going to uninstall it and reinstall the 11.0 version.

I also have Toast 11 (v 11.0) installed on my 10.7.5 MacBook; I just finished burning a .mov onto dvd without problems. I won't be installing the update on that one, for sure!

Thanks for the info. You can have multiple versions of Toast 11 on your Mac if you like. Just duplicate the earlier version and then do the update. There may be an advantage in other ways to the bug fixes that are in 11.1. Also, please see the post at the top of this forum where I share a link to report Toast bugs to Corel.

Thanks Tsantee. That didn't work. I've reported it to Corel and started a new topic as I hijacked this one.
