Issues With Freezing And Crashing.

DJRickinson

Question

Hello,

I am having an issue that is truly bugging me. My HD Pro software crashes everytime I try to add a second audio clip. I will do these steps exactly. Go to edit my video. add picture in front. add music. then try to add voice when it fails. Also I do not like the idea that I have to pay for customer support. One more thing. There seems to be an update for the HD Pro, yet when I click on it, it says " File not Found"

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and have a great day.

you have to "Pay" because that is their policy after 14 days...

If you can't update, it is because you don't need one  SP1.1 is all there is, open your Editor and click on Help - About to see what you have...

What Track are you adding this "Voice" on???

Is it a File? - if it is, can you add it by itself before you add the other?

If I am aggravating you, I want to apologize. I do not want you to get angry at me. I don't mind the software as much anymore. It is just a quick start, but now I have another issue. When I turn on my ps3 to record through the device. Everything is hooked up properly. The component cables are in the correct slots, the hdmi cable is in its correct spot, and the capture card is connect to my computer through the usb, yet when I try to switch the display settings on the XMB, to component, then to 1080i (the definiton of my screen) it only shows half of the screen working, and the other half is random flashing colors. It has worked correctly in the passed, yet today I can't seem to get it to work. any help would greatly be appreciated.

Once again I am sorry for aggravating you in such a manner, but I am just very angry at this product right now,

Thank you for your time,

Not angry. Not at all!

Still having trouble digging through your answers to find the problem

Your topic states Freezing and Crashing now you are talking about a display issue???

Display Issues: Drivers or Video Software & display setup in your PS3.

Freeze/Crash = Software Repair:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

I must say at first I was really dissapointed with this software its growing on me. i still think it could be a lot better and less buggy and work a lot more however. The capture and editing is pretty sweet reminds me of Vegas looks similar I actually editied my first video yesterday was really happy with the video wave the only issue is like you said. Whenever you try and add something extra I added a picture PNG file overlay as soon as you hit where you want it, it freezes for 5-10 seconds then turns back on earlier though about 5 minutes ago I added one and it completely crashed out making me start again,

Anyway I am happy with videowave seems to run fine accept when you add anything new and lags also splitting the video takes 5 seconds sometimes not really a bit complaint could be faster:P
