Video Choppy / Lag

Hi!

 

Now im not sure if someone post this yet but umm I just got my roxio and started to use it for walkthrough and my recording videos are kinda choppy or laggy and ofcourse i wasnt aware of whats happening cause im looking at my tv not on my computer but once i started editing my videos are like this:

 

Anyone know how to fix this?

And yes but im using Desktop not Laptop and I have been using HD PVR 2 but i bought Roxio to be use on other console but i never had any problems recording my stuff on my HD PVR and my new Roxio is recording crappy so i dont know whats going on.

Set the bitrate to 8k-10k in the options.
