Purple Screen When Using Screen Region Windows 8

Lately I've been having a problem with Roxio. I use OBS (Open brodcaster) and when I try to use screen region to capture the Roxio preview screen, I get a purple screen where the preview screen is. I have windows 8 so I cant disable aero theme like other solutions said. I also have AMD graphics card so I cant do the Nividia solution. I used to be able to capture it this way, but my windows 8 updated and now it does the purple screen. Can someone please help.

That is not a supported product to use in conjunction with RGC...

Even with xsplit it does still have the purple screen

You are going to have to open up a bit ~ and yes you can turn off Aero theme in Win8, just like Win7

I have it hooked up to my xbox and no its not purple at first but once I do screen region it turns purple. How do I turn Aero theme on windows 8?

Screen Region??? You are using unsupported software and that is where you need to take this up!

 

As far as Win8, just like XP & Win7 - right click a blank area of the desktop and choose Personalize.
