Try uninstalling and later installing it back. Do not plug in the Roxio HD Pro until you've restarted your computer after installing the software

The SP is 1.1 and it can't find it because it has already installed it...

Your program is corrupt and it takes a bit more than uninstall/reinstall to fix that!

You need to do the Repair in the proper manner:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Also list you complete PC specs as you may be under the minimums ;)

OK, thanks for the screen caps!

Your Windows Experience Index is only 3.3  I have one use with 3.1 who reported poor performance all the way around.

Likewise I have installed on on of my older PCs with a 3.4 rating and its' capture is... not too good!

While this is not the Cause of your software crashing, it is something to keep in mind when we get it working ^_^

Go back and redo ALL the steps in Post #4! (sometimes it actually take 2 or 3 tries)

Then see if any of your 3 issues are resolved.

Another way of testing is to use a DVD or BD Player for your input source. That way you know you have a Good Input ;)
