Help With Easy Vhs To Dvd

jas_in_fla

Question

Hi,I recently purchased and installed the Easy VHS to DVD. I have many hours of video to transfer to DVDs. In fact, my older VCR was not working so I had to purchase a cheap one just to get this job done. I have noticed that when I am transferring a tape, there is no picture on my pc monitor. Sometimes I can see what is being transferred and then the picture disappears but it is continuing to transfer. Also, I am getting an echo from the music that was used by the person who originally transferred the 8MM tapes to VHS.

First let's make sure which version you have. Please read the link carefully and respond back.

Many people that have problems with the program are those who install the USB device BEFORE installing the software. In those cases, Windows installs some unworking default drivers. Do you remember if you did that?

Have you tried plugging in the new VHS player into a TV and see what the tapes look and sound like?

Sometimes computer setting are not optimized and drivers for video and audio cards are not up to date. These can cause real problems. Something as simple as having the Windows fonts set to other than 96 dpi (100%) can cause problems. In order to take a look at your computer, please do the dxdiag evaluation and attach the results here. Do not copy and paste the text. Here are the complete instructions, it only takes a couple of minutes and there is no personal information in that txt file (except the name of your computer).

BillC1, Apparently you did not start your own thread to talk about your problems. Why don't you do that now and attach the information requested of jas? Perhaps we can help.
