Creator Nxt Pro Fails To Recognize Mpg

Big L

Question

After capturing video using my Sony HandyCAM (HDR-CX200), I want to import my MPGs. I connect it to the computer, launch Roxio Creator NXT Pro and want to import the MPGs, however, ROXIO is not recognizing the MPGs. No files are found. Using Windows Explorer, I can browse to the HandyCam and open a folder which contains all the MPGs on the HandyCam, copy and paste, however, this is not my preferred method. I'd like to manage them, label, and choose the desired folder. I was able to do this in Creator 2009, but not Creator NXT Pro. Any ideas??

Using Windows Explorer to transfer the video from a Hard Drive camcorder is the best way. There is no need to use any capture software.

You can easily name them and choose the desired folder. Why would that not be the preferred method?
