Trouble With Live Stream - Split

DavHamrick

Question

Im having an issue as to where if i click the live stream button, it takes me to Twitch Tv but it always says im offline. I have no idea whats wrong, its literally every time I try and live stream. Then if i hit stop stream it says not responding. Ive contacted Twitch and they said its not from them so im assuming its the Roxio? Anyone else having this problem or know of a fix please respond. I got this for Christmas and its worked 1 time since ive gotten it.

When you say 'offline' do you mean the twitch.tv says offline? Next to where your views and followers are? If so, does the video appear to be in the appropriate box? If so, try refreshing your browser and try your channel as well as your dashboard. I get similar issues but they're normally resolved after a few refreshes. I've always assumed it was a bug within twitch

Yes Twitch says im offline so I go back to the Capture screen to stop the stream and I get "Not Responding". Its literally everytime I try and stream. I've tried refreshing Twitch multiple times and it says im "Offline" and its always Not Responding or it it suprisingly does work it will only last maybe 10 secs the Roxio screen kind of freezes and "Not Responding" pops up

With that information, it would seem that a proper repair would be in order...

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

what i did was in options goto livestream and set it at 720p and your bit rate at 1500 then apply all that then move the slider thingy to half way and you should have a smooth stream without the non response error or freezing. though mine does this all the time andi have to uninstll - re install re update and it ometimes works. but on averae i use the xsplit software. there are ways to download it free you just have to google around to find links. hope this helps
