Slide Time. I Want It Longer Than A Split Second? And How To Burn To Dvd

RBGillander

Question

Hello Folks!

I paid for premium on Roxio Photoshow. I am reading some of the comments that makes me quite concerned of the product.

But, i don't want credits at the end, and I want each slide to be on the screen for bout 15 seconds. How do I do this?

and, how do I burn this to a DVD when i'm done? Help and thank you so much!

1) No way of removing the credits unless you have a video editing program. You would output it to a mpg video file and edit that. Then burn the file to a disc using a DVD authoring program.

2) Assuming that you have V6 on your desktop and you made the PhotoShow share, look at this for the timing. . Hint if you select the drop down next to "Automatic" to get per image and then click on that, it will tell you what faster and slower are (your current settings) The shortest time is 0.3 seconds for the images. You have to select the transations carefully because you can change that.

3) Look at this image for both making a video file or burning to a disc.

Let me know if that is enough information for you.

Sknis,

thank you for your reply so soon, i'm helping my sister out so I appreciate this alot. I do not see anything as far as export to any sort of medium. Is this AFTER you click done? I'm not completely there yet, but if its after done, that's great. Shouldn't be too much of a problem. Yes, i have some software, i'm just wondering if it will allow me to truncate it at the end Aimersoft DVD creator?

Yes, the putput is at the "Share" stage. I don't know anyhting about that Aimersoft program. You'll have to see for yourself. Output the PhotoShow to an mpg file and then edit that. Remember that you are creating a standard definition movie so the resolution will be like an old video (720 by 480) You cannot improve that with any program.
