Help! Respond With Any Ideas!

I have a problem, a big problem. My Roxio works but the program you use on your computer also workes but when the option to choose 'Capture' or 'Edit And Share' comes up and if I wanna choose 'capture' and I click it, the loading logo comes up but after about 0.5 - 1 second it goes away. When I spam the button ( got mad at it ) the message " Only one instance of MediaCapture or Plug & Burn may be run at the same time. " I've tryed going on different users but i never had run the program on the different users. :( PLEASE RESPOND..... D: p.s sorry for all the writeing but it was hard to explain.

Here are some pictures :L

I have No Idea what '...spam teh button' could possible mean

If you mean you click the Application Button more than Once, then that warning message is normal...

But let's see if we can get your issue fixed!

I think what you want to do is try a repair but make sure you do it this way...

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Remove the Device and set it aside for later.

Now insert your Roxio Disc - run Install.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Ok so Im gonna say almost everything that is involved whit the roxio sooo here it goes:

I Have a PS3 Super Slim ( newest edition)

I Have a HD Pro Roxio Game Capture with "component cables" comeing from my PS3 into the 5 slots on my Roxio, I have a hdmi cable going from my Roxio into my tv.

In the "Audio Cables ( white and red ) of my "Component Cables" i have a Gameing Headset extension so that I can hear sound through my Head.

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro Laptop 64-bit ( low-end :P ) With windows 7 on it.

Ive had my Roxio since Christmas 2012 and it worked fine. proof (

Ive been haveing trouble with the roxio since 3 months. I think this problem occoured because I had a " FBI virus " ( a virus which takes affect when you Start up your computer and says " Your computer has been taken by the FBI " and it then says that you have to pay a amount of money to get your computer back, but its a " con .

This is all I can say off the top of my head and I hope it helps :)

Thanks you Jim_Hardin for being there to help :)

The Solution goes back to Post #2...

The software is corrupt and needs to be repaired!

I hope you have located your disc by now as there is NO other recourse available from Roxio... ;)

Just so you know a 'low end' PC (or Lap) will give you dropped frames in recording & Streaming... Looks and sounds jerky!

Likewise if you render your recording, it will take longer...

But it will not cause the program to stop/crash/etc. ;)

Lets' take a more through approach then!

Make sure you do each and everthing in this and do so carefully ;)

Remove the RGC Device and set it aside for later.

[indent=1Download and install the Revo Uninstaller. Then run it in Moderate Mode to remove any traces of Roxio.[/indent]

Create a New User Account with Administrator Privileges.

Turn OFF any A/V & Firewall.

Reboot and log on to that new account.

Copy your entire disc to a new folder on your HDD.

In that new folder, right click on Setup.exe and select Properties.

Under the Compatibility tab, make sure
is checked!

Right click Setup.exe and select Open.

Allow it to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio not Windows)

Use the Default Locations!

Hoping this will allow it run as intended for you
