Use Turtle Beaches X12's With Game Capture Hd Pro?

DaUnknownGames

Question

hi all,

I was just wondering if it's possible to use the x12s without buying any adapters. next month I plan to buy the Game Capture HD pro along with the x12s and want to be able to use them at the same without having to use my computer mic. like I know how to record other people's voice, but i want to be able to record my voice, when I'm talking with them.

I also won't spend more then $30 on any adapter, well in total as i do have a bunch of wires.

also sorry if it's the wrong section. not a big post person.

thanks.

you really think I didn't do that already?

that was the first thing. after Google.

It looks like you forgot to mention that in your first post. ;) No one in these forums, is a mind reader.

Oh, and the person, who is trying to help you, is not the one having the problem. YOU ARE!

It might benefit you, in the future, to not p-iss off the ones trying to help you with your problem.

This is no problem.

Your headset comes with a Red and White rca dual female adapter.

If you're using Component to connect then just put the adapter inline with the cable coming out of the Roxio device.Connect your headset to it.

If you're using HDMI then you need the XBox HD Audio adapter. Here is one.

It will fit at the same time an HDMI cable will. You'll get audio out of both the adapter and through the HDMI.Just plug your headset to the adapter.

I know this works because that's how I have mine connected.

As far as using them to capture your voice I have no idea. The Roxio setup isn't designed to do that and you have to use a workaround that I haven't attempted.

Thanks, its possible to use it with the default cord, My cord doesn't have that thing sticking out, and if it did you can cut it off without damaging anything.

I also found another way, but I was just seeing if there was an easier way lol.
