Tivo Transfer Not Working….why?

I have updated the Toast 11 Titanium software with the hope that TiVo transfer would work. I use Lion as my operating system and it doesn't work. I had a macbook(all white) and TiVo transfer worked but now that I have one of the latest Macbook air and Lion as my OS and not it doesn't work. My shows show up, but I click the transfer show button but nothing happens. Please help…. Really want to free up my TiVo storage.

It works for me with both Lion and Mountain Lion. Have you set a location for the transferred files to be saved? I suspect you'll want to use an external drive with the MacBook Air because the transferred files take up a lot of space. I can't think of any reason why the videos would show up in the transfer window but the transfers don't start (as long as they don't have the red circle showing they aren't allowed to transfer).

My Tivo Transfer has not been working for some time now. I can select the shows and the program indicates it is transferring them. But it just sits there and goes around and around and then actually deselects the show. Nothing happens. I've reset the Tivo, reset the tuner that connects to the Tivo and still if doesn't work. I've been using this program for a long time without any problem, and these are not files that are marked with the red circle. In fact I've transfer other episodes of this show before. This needs to be fixed. Is anyone from Roxio/Tivo even monitoring these forums?

No, nobody from Roxio/TiVo monitors these forums. Are you trying to transfer by wifi? If so, shut down and then restart your wifi router.

I'm having the same problem. It transfered once when first installed but now it just sits there. I can see all my shows but when I select one and click Transfer, it shows the status as "Waiting".

I suggest restarting everything including the TiVo. My guess is this is a communication problem but it's impossible to know the source.
