Hi,,

Not sure if this can be done. I am uploading a video from U send it. I would like to edit the video and make it lighter and brighter. Can I do this with Roxio? I tried but it will not save in a mpg format to view. I have Roxio Creator 2011

What format is the video? Once you have it on your computer, you should see the extension or you can right clcik on it and select properties and details. Post that.

What application in the Creator 2011 program are you trying to use?

funnygirl, I see some information in the quote that I didn't put in my post. Did you do that? Those two references are for image (picture files) that may be on your computer. Since you referenced them on your computer, that is where they will stay unless you use the upload tab. Look to the bottom right of this message and you will see "More Reply Options" clcik on that and you will have more functionality.

If you want to post one of those images, simply select it (Choose File) then right below that button is attach this file.

As I said, that is an image file and not a video file. How do you know you actually have an mpg2 file?

Use Edit -Video Advanced, add the file you have. There are some editing tools there.

Yes, that image you sent is exact, now I clicked the edit video advance, transferred the video that I UPLOADED from my desktop, used the brighten video tab, then I was asked to save as, but it is only allowing me to save as Production 1.dmsm and file type video wave production, which goes right to my desk top, when I try to open the finished product it will not play. I am thinking it needs to be saved in a different format.

Do not use Save or Save as since that only creates a project file. This file is simply a list of instruction on creating your video, it contains no video whatsoever.

To create the video select the Output(or export) icon on the menu bar. This will allow you to select from many formats for your video.
