Right now I have 18 photos and want to change the duration of all of them. Is there a way that this can be done as a group or do I have to do each one individually

thanks

Mike

Right click on any of the pictures in storyline and select trim (bad choice of descriptive text). You will get a pop up to change duration and a check box to change all of them.

Thanks for letting me remind myself on some of the basic procedures of this program. ;)

Thank you. That worked. By the time I'm through I will have about 40 to 50 pictures and will be adding and removing weekly for a video display at a mall.

On another issue which I probably should post seperately. I'm burning DVD's on these after each change. Can I save them as an .iso and use a flash drive instead of a DVD. I'm open to any suggestions.

thanks

Mike

An ISO is an exact image of what needs to be on a DVD - the video files and ALL the information to tell the DVD player that it is a DVD and how to play it. I don't think that is what you want.

You could always just encode the project (output/ export as) and then copy it to a thumbdrive if you are using a computer OR if your DVD player can play video files directly from the thumb drive. Of course you won't have navigation and menus but for what you are talking about you wouldn't need them.

Thank you. Wasn't sure of some of the terminoligy or the way things worked. What we are trying to do is loop an advertising aid on a computer to hooked to a large monitor. Once we get this perfected for our group of 50 vendors inside of our space. We are going to propose that we will do the same thing to the mall for all of their monitors that they are not using.

I just thought I would let you know of what we are trying to accomplish.

thanks

Mike
