Roxio Game Capture Hd Pro Runtime Error

ThorHighHeels

Question

Hey everyone,

I've properly installed the software of my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro and the installation went fine.

But afterwards when starting the program and hitting the "capture" button I got a little pop error thingy that said:

"Microsoft Visual Runtime Error C++ Library

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way."

And then nothing really.

I tried a few things but I just don't know what to do anymore...

anyway, here are my PC specs:

genuine Intel CPU 1.66 GHz

300gb RAM

Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit

If the specs you posted are correct then it has everything to do with your problem - your system is way below specs.

I'm having the same problem, but I'm running a Pentium G3258 @3.5 Ghz and having the same problem. And this is after the update that fixed everything. (temporarily)

Well I'm not saying it won't run but your installation went South during the install.

Your below minimum system requirements for the software.

Minimum System Requirements:

  • Microsoft Windows® 8, 7, Vista™ SP2, XP (SP3 for 32 bit & SP2 for 64 bit), Intel® Core 2 Duo Processor 1.8 GHz or AMD Athlon x2 64 2.0 GHz, 2GB RAM

Yeah I know, but I doubt that has anything to do with this particular problem.

I mean, I even see people with high-end PCs getting this issue.

Is there anyway I can solve this?
