FLASHMASTER Posted March 27, 2013 Report Share Posted March 27, 2013 I have an imac and Running OSX 10.8.3 imovie ''11 My imac does not have idvd so I use Toast 11 version 11.1 I have sent my movie to the hard drive, then to toast, then it has started burning OK, but stops after about 20mins saying that the format is wrong? When I play it back on a TV it is fine for that same (approx 20mins) then just stops burning ! THE EXACT MESSAGE IS..... The drive reported an error Sense Key= Illegal RequestIncompatible Sense Code= 0x30 , 0x05 Cannot write Medium - Incompatible Format DISC FAILED TO BE WRITTEN Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jrooms Posted March 27, 2013 Report Share Posted March 27, 2013 Mine burned fine and plays on the MAC but wont play on the home DVD player. Tried different kinds of DVD's (DL/SL, Memorex, Sony) 4 different types with combinations of PAL and NSTC (what ever) and also tried disk image. Nothing works!
