No Signal Ps3 Please Help!

Question

im using a roxio game cap hd pro on ps3 and using my monitor as display

ps3 > ps3 component cable > Roxio hd pro > hdmi to dvi > monitor = no signal

Before i got my hd pro it worked fine with my monitor but when i plugged it into my roxio

my monitor says No signal detected and my cable is hdmi to dvi d

You may have to manually select the DVI port on your Monitor...

 

Although it could be that the Pass Through does not provide an acceptable HDCP signal for that Monitor... I tried a similar setup, Pass Through - HDMI - DVI - Monitor, but mine worked :huh: Yet some users have reported issues.

 

Do you have another Monitor to test it with OR one that can accept straight HDMI??? (even just for a quick test)

@recongamingz, try this.

 

 

*Turn off your PS3 console until you see the red light

*From there, press and hold the power button UNTIL YOU HEAR TWO BEEPS

*Try to connect the Game Capture again

*On Game Capture software, set Input from HDMI to Component.

 

Make sure to check PS3's display settings. Check 480p, 720p, 1080i then leave 1080p unchecked. Let me know the result.
