Uploading Purchased Audio Files

rsrudzirs

Question

Photoshow is supposed to support AAC music files, but everytime I try to upload one, I get an error message saying "We had a problem saving your music file. Please try again." mp3s work just fine, but music downloaded from iTunes store or Amazon doesn't work. I specifically purchased this product because it would let me add music, as I am working on a funeral memorial for my sister. Help!!

I would suspect that the files you've "purchased" have a DRM (Digital Rights Management) on them that doesn't allow them to be used as you're trying to do. MP3 files are DRM-free, so they'll work as you want. If iTunes will let you make a CD of the tunes you're having problems with, you could do that, and then see if Photoshow will accept the music from the CD.

Good luck!

I'm going to give you the same information I give to others. Download the desktop version of PhotoShow 6 and install it on your computer - if you have a PC. Download that PhotoShow from the web site using the options in the desktop version. Change /add your music there.

In the future, make your PhotoShow on your computer and then upload it to the web site. It will take the files it is supposed to. I use Amazon mp3 all the time; those are mp3.

I know that it is a b--- to buy a program that doesn't work the way you expect it to. If it were not for the memorial that you are trying to make, I would suggest that you complain to Roxio and cancel your Premium membership.
