I plugged up the HDMI's and hooked up the usb, and I'm getting a green static on the right. What do I Do?

I plugged my A/C outlets, and nothing moved. What should I do?

In your case, I would provide a lot more detail than you provided in the non-informative post of yours, above.

But what is going on BEFORE it gets to your PC???

What kind of Game Console?

How is it hooked in to the RGC Device?

What happens when you hook something else up to the RGC Device ~ DVD or BD Player?

What shows up in your Device Manager with the RGC Device plugged in?

Not that you would have guessed you needed all that  But it provides more than 'don't work' ;)

It Goes through HDMI to the RGC then the usb goes to my computer.

Xbox

HDMI from xbox to the RGC, From the RGC to my computer and to my tv.

When I tried component it just had a black screen so I don't use those.

The screen has a green sort of static thing like when you start up battlefield 3.

That helps...

I would suggest 2 things you can try as a test.

One would be the Component cables, just make sure you select Component for the Source in the RGC Software:

(this is a shot of mine using Component from a DVD Player)

The other would be to hook up a DVD or BD Player with HDMI.

Either way will see if the "static" is from your Xbox ;)

A screen cap might help us get the picture ~ Info on posting pics, HERE

Thanks for the Screen Caps!!!

I doubt the driver is the problem here BUT let's look ;)

On your PC, press Win-Pause then select Device Manager on the screen that pops up:

(by the way, what is the number for your Windows Experience???)

Then look to make sure you only have this One Entry and NO other errrors or warning flags showing:

Assuming it is as I have shown, it should work with any HDMI input and that Red 'No Signal' should be a Green "Ready" ^_^

DELETE IT!!!! (USB2.0-CRW)

reboot and see if stays gone ;)

(it may be nothing or it may be what is causing the problem)

You mentioned using an Xbox Arcade box... As long as it outputs in HDMI or Component, it should not be a factor.

Now if all it has is Composite output (Yellow/White/Red) then it will never work

In your pics the important clue is the red No Signal message!

That tells us that you have the correct driver installed and it recognizes the RGC Device. (otherwise it would be green)

What you call 'static' is a partial picture, which tells us that Something is coming into the RGC Device, but it is not happy with it!

I had suggested, and do so again, that you hook up a DVD or BD Player that has HDMI and use it as a testing Source!
