I bought the Roxio Video Capture USB for € 44.99 on page Roxio and expected to come with the software to capture images, but only sent me the USB accessory. Then I discover that sell anywhere accessory pack and dvd software together with € 69.99. Please I need to know how to buy just the program to use the Roxio Video Capture USB. help me.

That's interesting. There is software you can download from Roxio's software updates page. This is the version that encodes to MPEG 2 format. They have newer software that encodes to h.264 but that isn't available anywhere for download.

You bought the capture only device (no software) that works with other Roxio products.

 

Return it and buy the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD for Mac, (hardware and software) "Then I discover that sell anywhere accessory pack and dvd software together with € 69.99." your talking about.

I forgot to mention that is to work with Mac x.

I found some updates: Roxio_EV2D_Capture_Update_1.0.3 and 1.0.5, but when i install it, it gives me a message saying connect the USB VIDEO CAPTURE. I do it but it doesn't work.

I dont know if I have to install the first version, (Roxio_EV2D_Capture_Update_1.0.1). Which I can't find anywhere not even for purchase download from the contents of Roxio.

It sounds like you have the PC version of this device and not the Mac version. What you want is the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD for Mac. If it doesn't say "for Mac" it doesn't work on a Mac.

 

The Easy VHS to DVD for Mac Capture application is available here: http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/easy-vhs-to-dvd-mac/software_updates.html . But it only works with the "for Mac" device. I was surprised by your original post because it is only sold with the software included.

That link you posted is for the Windows device not the Mac. Did you not read the system requirements?

My recollection is it doesn't require a registration key. Have you checked Roxio's Software Updates page?

Follow the advice in this post #14 to contact Rox-Ralf. Explain to him your lost disc he is the only one here that can help you.

 

Be patient he lives in another time zone.
