Not Recording Mic On Xbox With Turtle Beaches

I got my Roxio HD Pro GCD and hooked it up according the instructions! Now the only problem is that it isn't recording my mic from the turtle beaches I have..I have everything else just not my mic and also I'm using HDMI cables not component cables..

The device doesn't natively capture voice chat.It only captures game sounds.

You need to look around the posts to find some about getting voice chat to work.
