Roxio Game Capture Hd Won't Turn On!

The capture card arrow that lights up when you plug the usb into your computer lights up red for a few seconds then goes away and doesn't shine the regular purple like it's supposed to. The capture card was working fine yesterday and I actually recorded a video off it it too yesterday. I have changed nothing with my computer so I don't see how it could be the problem. So if you can help me out please do!!!

PC is likely OK but post the specs regardless

 

What does the RGC Capture Software indicate?

 

Open your Device Manager with the RGC Device plugged in.

 

What shows up there ~ any warning icons???

The software just indicates that it isnt plugged in and when i do plug it into the computer it just lights up red and shuts off and it doesnt come up in my device manager

You ARE running it while attached to AC Power right?

 

Can you hook up the Device to any other USB source?

 

It does look like the Device is at fault, but I want to make sure it is getting full power

 

If it is the device, you only have 30 days, are you within that???

I've tried hooking up to a wall charger but it still comes up red. and yes it's attached to the ac power. i am within 30 days but i don't have the box that amazon sent with it because i didn't think i'd need it

I don't know that you would need the box BUT you do need to contact Roxio ~ HERE

 

At the same, I would persue it with Amazon as well...
