When trying to capture video in EMC 7, the video image is "squashed" in the preview window; the top and bottom portions of the capture screen are black, and the image is roughly half the height it should be. I've tried both composite and S-Video inputs on 2 different computers with the same result. Both systems have ATI Radeon cards with Cat 6.8 drivers (they are not All-in-Wonder, just VIVO). The capture signal is coming from the cable box, via the VCR. I couldn't find any way to adjust the capture resolution in either Roxio or the Catalyst control panel.
