Returning A Broken Game Capture

Question

I've had my game capture since Christmas and its been registered and i don't have the 30 day warranty left on it. Could some one tell me how returning works and if i can get it replaced. Any response will be greatly appreciated.Thank You:)

So, clicking on the Support button at the top of this page, and then selecting, "Support Home" would seem the best route for you to get started. But, to be honest, I don't know how much satisfaction you'll get. I waded through the screens for awhile, and it may take you awhile to finally get to some place where you can actually submit a request or problem report going that route. And even so, since you are out of the warranty period, again, I don't know how much satisfaction you'll get. But that's the best route I can point you toward. Maybe someone else has a better route to offer.

 

But, how do you know it's a hardware problem, not a software problem?

i know its a hardware problem because when i plug it in to my laptop, the light will be red and then fade when i would normally be purple. My computer malfunctioned a while back while i was recording and my roxio hasn't worked since.
