Is Easy Vhs 2 Dvd3+ Compatible With W8 64 Bit?

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite S855. It has Windows Media Player 12, DirectX11, it runs Windows 8 64bit. I am hesitant to buying Easy VHS to DVD3+ because it does not explicitly say it is compatible to Windows 8. Should I hold off and wait until Roxio makes it official that "Easy DVD3" is compatible? Thanks.
