Can't Capture With Power Plugged In

LagStrafe

Question

Hey guys I got a roxio hd pro about 1 and a half months back and I just recently got an i7 laptop (from HP). Now when the laptop IS NOT connected to power, it captures perfectly, but when IT IS then the capture is really laggy and glitchy. Any solution to this?

Capturing the same video file is fine on battery but really laggy and glitchy on AC power?

Laptops are weird they have things that power down this, shut this and that off..

Check the power plan / setting and see what you can find.

Power settings are exactly the same when plugged in and not plugged in so I honestly don't understand it. It's not even like if I turn the video capture quality down it does anything to help the lagginess...

Call your PC manufacture and ask them, they designed it.
