Macbook Pro / Roxio Cd/dvd Burner Help...please!

I purchased Roxio Easy CD/DVD Burning online, and downloaded it online. It never showed up after it finished. After some searching I found it, and this is what comes up when I click on it"

 

(Safari can’t open the file “HD56ZXD1ECD_RoxioEasyCDandDVDBurningv10.3.exe” because no available application can open it.)

 

When I open it in Finder it says this:

 

(You can’t open the application“HD56ZXD1ECD_RoxioEasyCDandDVDBurningv10.3.exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X.)

 

Is all this just telling me I need to BUY something else just to burn a DVD or is this something simple to fix?

 

This has been such a frustrating road...all we wanted to do was burn an encoded DVD from iMovie...and it's been just one thing after the next that keeps it from happening. Any help you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated!

If you have a MAC, this software isn't going to load on it. The software is for a PC, not a MAC.

You've got to be kidding me?! The guy at the "Genius Bar" in the Apple Store told me THIS was what I needed to burn an encoded DVD...Nowhere on the Roxie order did it say Mac or PC. Does anyone know if this comes available for the Mac.

So much for the "Apple Genius" Why would an Apple store recommend a Windows product?

 

No it will not be available for a Mac.

 

Do you not check the specs when you buy software?
