So, that's happening. After having issues with Roxio Game Capture HD Pro, I uninstalled it, and tried to reinstall it and this is what it results in. I'm on Windows 8 Pro. I've attached my log file ZIP archive. Also attached the image above just in case it doesn't show up. I'll provide anymore info needed. Please and thank you!

I would do as cd suggests!

 

At the same time there is one install method that seems to work for the IncompatibleSuite error I see in your logs.

 

This is extensive, but it what I suggest...

 

Create a New User Account with Administrator Privileges.

 

Turn OFF any A/V & Firewall.

 

Reboot and log on to that new account.

 

Copy your entire disc to a new folder on your HDD.

 

In that new folder, right click on Setup.exe and select Properties.

 

Under the Compatibility tab, make sure
nothing
is checked!

 

Right click Setup.exe and select Open.

 

Allow it to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio not Windows)

 

Use the Default Locations!
