ted37
A few days ago burning audio cds with "Burn Audio CDs" option stoped working. After adding mp3 or flac files to the project and pressing the green arrow for burning an audio CD I get the next error message: "There was a problem writing to the disk. You can try again by clicking the Retry button. You will need another disk ready" followed by some coded infos (eg. "Sense: 00 ASC: 00 ASCQ: 00 (Command 00) Px.dll: 5.04.17.1 PxAFS.DLL: 5.04.17.1 pxdrv.dll: 1.02.88a PxMas.dll: 5.04.17.1 PxSFS.DLL: 5.04.17.1 PxWave.dll: 5.04.17.1 pxwma.dll: 1,0,0,3) (See the images attached) I used "Burn Audio CD" many times before this problem suddeny arrised. I have same issue with both drives of my PC, . I have no problem burning audio CDs with Windows Media Player, or with the "Create Music Disk Projects" of Roxio NXT, so it is not a hardware issue. Un-installed, cleared registry and programs's forders and re-installed => Same problem. Any ideas please?
cdanteek
00-00-00 No additional sense information When the error code is all zeros, there are many cases where the error code the drive produces is not received by the application due to an unstable connection or interference from running programs. If the problem is not solved when you try the suggested actions, get your drive checked.
ted37
Both drives on my PC are OK (since i am able to write autio CDs by other programs AND DVDs with Roxio), they need no check. I'll check the "interference from running programs" that you suggested. By the way: What you mean with "unstable connection"? As far as i know drives are either connected or not. Why an "unstable connection" can occure for both of my drives? Thaks for quick reply.
