Roxio Game Capture Hd Pro *huge* Problem!

TheAsianGamerHD

Question

Ok so I am having a *HUGE* problem with ROXIO GameCap HD PRO. So I connected it right, I have good HDMI cables and everything. But when I start up my XBOX I get either A) a blue screen or B) my TV says "Not supported format" so I also have another problem, It says, on the device I am using yPbPr cables when I am using HDMI. So I go into the software and it says in red: NO SIGNAL. I really need help! I alreadt tried to reinstall the software and it doesnt help/make it work!

Like everyone else you need to follow the instructions carefully! The RED 'No Signal' indicates your install is OK, the problem is your setup.

There is also a Video if you look at the Product Page here for the link.

Your TV is a different issue BUT make sure you can get the Xbox output on your PC preview window before we move to that one ;)

IF it were set up right, both wiring and Xbox settings, it would work!

So we are trying to figure out what you have done wrong... - as I said the TV/Monitor can't work until this is resolved.

Would help if you provided a screen cap of your RGC Software and a Picture of your Xbox settings ;)

I mean, the problem isnt from setting up the device wrong.

It won't have been meant as an insult, you can have everything plugged into exactly the right ports and it still won;t work, I know from experience. It takes some fiddling and plugging things in in different orders to get it to work. It's a BS piece of kit lol.

I have the exact same problem, everything is set up correctly and the game cap worked ONCE. after that all I get is either signal protected or no signal and the TV says unknown format. I've tried everything but nothing helps! It varies from HDMI to YPBPR even though its only plugged in with HDMI
