Printing To Disk

QC Jim

Question

I just bought an Epson XP-800. I want to print directly on disks. When I select paper type "disk" this printer doesn't show up. This printer is a new model. All of the ones that show up are no longer manufactured. I have Creator NXT Pro and Creator Pro 2011. Running Vista

Use the software that came with the Epson printer. I do, with my Artisan 810 and Artisan 837. I wouldn't waste time using any version of label/disc printing program that Roxio has in their suites. It isn't one of their strong points.

If you still want to use the software, try one of the other Epson printers listed, even if they are no longer manufactured.

I am creating disks for church. I need to use my pictures. I can't even get the Epson program to find the picture files. The only way I can get what I want done is to design it in Roxio. Then print it on paper and then use the copy disk function in the printer.

Have to agree with the other suggestions---Use the software that came with your new Epson printer. !!

Much better than trying to fight the printer program associated printers that comes with your Nxt Pro and 2011 Pro.

Your version of the Epson software won't let you browse your hard drive?

Please remember that BOTH the program AND the printer must be set to print to CD/DVD. It won't work without those being set properly.

Are you using the "Create Labels- Advanced" application?

If it doesn't show up in your list of printers, it is not installed correctly. Did you install the software/discs that came with this printer? Did you have an earlier model of an Epson printer that you are no longer using?

I am going to set down and study the software manual in hopes that I can get it to do what i want. Thanks guys for the help. Corel support is really bad I just deleated 30 e-mails today from them. I just gave up on trying to get this problem solved with support. The programs are good but support is lacking.
