Question With Roxio Game Cap Hd Pro

MykaGiu

Question

Hi i've just bought a Roxio Game Capture HD pro and I've already tested it. I noticed that (on my Xbox 360) the GameCap "captures" just in-game sounds and chat voices, but it doesn't capture my voice... We tried to capture simultaneously in-game stuff and voice (with the same program), but the voice program need a "pre-captured". My question: Is it possible to capture in game sounds chat voices and my voices in the same time without buying more things?

1) Of course, your voice is not playbacked by the Xbox. This purpose of this is so that you don't hear an echo of what ever you just said to the mic (because it would ruin the gameplay if there is noise in the background).

2) Actually yes, just record the gameplay on your Xbox like normal (and make sure other players' voice are output to the headset and console). Whilst recording, you could use any 3rd party voice recording software like Windows' very own Sound Recorder or any other freeware such as Audacity (I highly recommend this). If your computer is 'weak' you could always use your phone's recorder and record your voice from there and transfer the audio to your computer.

Once you've recorded your voice, all you have to do is edit it into your video (make sure to sync it if it's a live commentary!)
