I would contact support but they didn't mail me the support code. pretty bad business practice if you ask me. The device is expensive enough and they didn't even include HDMI cables and they don't even give proper support? really cheap.
anyway, the problem is two-fold.
1) First of all, when i boot my computer while the roxio gamecap HD pro is attached via USB, the computer won't boot, it will not finish the POST and just stays at the asus logo that comes before the POST (power on self test).
2) when i boot my computer and than plug in the USB it seems to work fine most of the time, however when i stream my xbox with it using xsplit the stream sometimes freezes, and i have to refresh it before it gets unfrozen again.
i believe i have the latest roxio drivers.
my system is:
Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V
CPU: Intel i7 2600K
RAM: 8GB corsair vengeance
GPU: MSI Twin frozr 2 GTX 580
headset: Logitech G35
OS windows 7 enterprise 64 bit
i'm trying to stream my xbox 360 via HDMI.
P.S. i think my computer is having problems with handling the USB but i have no idea how to fix it. i have USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0
so far i have only tried using it on USB 2.0, but i'll try to use it with 3.0, maybe it works better that way.
