I have the same problem. I have an HDMI chord running from my Xbox 360 to the device and from the device (with another HDMI chord) to my HDTV and the USB from the device to my laptop (which I installed the disk on successfully) and I get a white screen on my HDTV (which is normal for no input and it says "NO SIGNAL") and a black screen on my software with no sound coming out of my laptop or my HDTV. I've already checked all the wires and the device has recognized that I'm using HDMI and I don't know what to do. What I'm wondering is if the device is defective or if I'm just doing something obviously stupid. I only just bought it from Future Shop, I plugged it in (after I installed the disk that is) and it didn't work. If you need me to clarify anything just post it, I will be checking this page daily.

... will be checking this page daily, and thank you in advance (sorry can't stop bolding).

:lol::D:lol: that's funny!

You have to click the Style button a second time to toggle it off ~ sometimes it helps if you add a Space first ;)

You did not say what color the No Signal was :huh:

Green = Device Not Recognized or no Driver for it

Red = Device working fine, nothing coming into it

Your PC Specs would be useful, like I have in my sig block (Win-Pause)

The text in the program is red and my specs are: HP ENVY m6 Notebook PC(product name) + Windows 8 64-bit(operating system) + AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics(microprocessor) w/8 GB RAM + AMD Radeon HD 7640G(graphics device)also is said that my current resolution is 1366 x 768 do I need to change that or does my laptop resolution not matter? And how would this stop an image or sound going to my TV.(P.S. I added a space and pressing bold again just made it even bigger so I just removed it).
