Asap-Cant Record Videos, Although Its All Connected And Says I Have A Signal. Help?

Question

Hey, i upgraded my roxio to the HD one. And i have a problem. When i go in place to record videos. il clip the record and it will say stop recording, but where it says "Time Elapsed" it stays at 00:00 . I did the install. It was actually working atleast an hour ago an i recently got this message. Please help ASAP as so trying to make my livestream

I noticed that too sometimes. It seems that if you try and do 'consecutive' captures in one open software session. It wont work. After I finish a cap, I simply close the program and reopen it to start another.

 

Not sure if there's a simpler way, but, it only takes a second to close and reopen..
